The opportunity to be an intern at CAS was a truly rewarding experience. From day one I became an integral part of the deal team and had the privilege to work on a wide variety of complex transactions. This firsthand experience allowed me to test, develop, and refine my technical and professional skills, which are paramount for succeeding in the banking industry. Along with this, the guidance and mentorship from the firm’s leadership is unprecedented and I am truly grateful for the experience. My internship at CAS was both intellectually challenging and professionally rewarding. As an undergraduate student hungry to acquire investment banking experience, I was given the opportunity to work on a lean deal team and immediately gain end-to-end exposure to both sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions. Throughout my time with the firm, I enjoyed excellent mentorship from colleagues, while also receiving the bandwidth to create unique solutions to complex problems. The experience I gained here at CAS will serve as an invaluable foundation for my future career in the investment banking industry.

Getting to work under Mark and Michael this Summer at CAS was a fantastic experience that I’m very grateful to have had. At CAS you will be given real work and be made to feel like a true member of the team. You will learn valuable career skills, as well as meet some great hard-working people. I encourage anyone who has the opportunity to intern at CAS to take it and get your foot in the professional door.

Interning at CAS was an incredible experience. As a career switcher in my first year pursuing my MBA at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, I didn’t have a strong business background. However, the team at CAS welcomed me wholeheartedly, invested considerable time and energy in teaching me about M&A and the BPO industry, and allowed me to work on high-level, substantive projects under the supervision of firm leadership. The skills I developed at CAS will not only allow me to apply the new skills I developed in my MBA program but will also serve me well in my professional development.

While attending Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, I interned in CAS’ Philadelphia office. I had the opportunity to work directly with Managing Partner Michael Lamm, who challenged me to contribute to all aspects of CAS’ advisory business. This included equity valuation, due diligence, strategic advisory and compliance. I eventually joined CAS full time as a Junior Analyst in February 2016. Today I am a Senior Associate.

While attending Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, I interned in CAS’s Philadelphia office. I had the opportunity to work directly with Managing Partner Michael Lamm, providing transaction and administrative assistance at every phase of the M&A process. I accepted an offer to join CAS as a Junior Analyst in July 2017. Today I am an Associate.

Interning at CAS was a phenomenal experience. I was given the opportunity to work in a lean deal team, which exposed me to various aspects of M&A transactions from industry research and analysis to client proposals and valuation. Through the team’s excellent mentorship and guidance, I was able to develop a stronger understanding of investment banking and to refine my leadership and professional skills in a collaborative work environment. For anyone looking to break into the business, CAS is a great place to start.

Working at CAS gave me the opportunity work in a dynamic industry, with wide exposure to all of the different activities around bringing companies to market and helping work towards successful closing. Not only have I thoroughly enjoyed the chance to be involved in the entire process end-to-end, but I also gained deep experience in ARM, RCM, CRM and other outsourced business services verticals. The CAS team is supportive, fun and flexible to work with, with strong experienced leadership to learn from. It has been a true pleasure to be part of the CAS deal team, and I am grateful for my time with CAS.

Interning at CAS has been a unique opportunity that differentiates itself from other similar experiences. Working with the CAS team was an amazing experience because they communicate needs well as a team, are open and trusting to enhancing their marketing initiatives, and make sure all team member’s ideas are heard. I would like to say thank you to the Team at CAS. After almost 25 years in business, they helped me and my partner, John Beirne, successfully sell our company to Meduit in 2022.

My experience with CAS goes back to when I met Michael Lamm at Collection Agency conferences over the years and he was always extremely knowledgeable and willing to share information about the process of selling an agency and how to prepare.

When we were ready to “go to market” I worked extensively with Nick Ciabattone and Mark Russell. Nick was extremely value added in helping me prepare the extensive amount of spreadsheets and other data needed to provide to potential buyers. He put in long hours in helping bring this deal to a timely conclusion. Mark did a great job in helping us evaluate the various potential buyers and deals. His experience and negotiating skills were invaluable.

I should also mention that the CAS team has a wealth of contacts in the industry and they were able to provide me with excellent recommendations on a transaction attorney as well as an insurance broker when I needed some specialized insurance. They really came through.

There is no getting around the fact that selling your company can be a long and involved process. This makes it even more important to have a Team like CAS represent your interests. I highly recommend them
