Michael is a Founder of CAS. He oversees the firm’s M&A, strategic consulting, valuation, compliance and regulatory business practices and is responsible for CAS’ corporate direction and growth plan. Michael is a frequent speaker on industry events and is often quoted in the media for his expertise and insight. He also regularly provides analysis for industry publications.
Michael participates in many industry organizations including:
- ACA International – 2017-2018 Council of Delegates
- Debt Buyers Association (DBA)
- Association for Corporate Growth – Philadelphia chapter (membership committee)
- Hospital Financial Management Association (HFMA)
Prior to co-founding CAS, Michael was a Director at Kaulkin Ginsberg, a strategic advisory firm that specializes in the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) industry. While at Kaulkin Ginsberg, Michael executed on over 70 M&A transactions and acted as a strategic adviser to both ARM service providers and creditors. Before joining Kaulkin Ginsberg, Michael was a Co-Founder and Program Director of the U.S.-Israel Business Exchange in Washington, D.C. This public/private initiative was established out of the Embassy of Israel to accelerate market entry and facilitate financing of Israeli technology companies in the Greater Washington, D.C. region.
Michael holds a degree in international studies from the American University.
Michael resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his wife Simone, son Nathaniel, and daughter Temma.
