INVESTMENT BANKING OUTREACH INTERN
In this role, the intern will be maintaining various Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with target
buyers/sellers for deals that the team is working on. A significant portion of the position will be
researching leadership contacts, along with their phone numbers and emails. Moreover, the intern will
be performing outreach via emails and phone calls. Strong communication and organization skills, as
well as a sense of timeliness and persistence, are keys to being successful in this position.
INVESTMENT BANKING ANALYST
CAS is seeking a deal support investment banking analyst to assist our clients through the M&A transaction and advisory process. Due to the firm’s boutique size, the analyst will gain exposure to all aspects of the investment banking process and will interact regularly with the deal team, managing partners, and clients of the firm. Analysts will be given client-related responsibilities from the beginning, providing hands-on experience and enabling them to become immediate assets for the firm.
M & A ANALYST
CAS is seeking a deal support analyst to assist the company through the M&A transaction and advisory process. Due to the firm’s small size, the analyst will gain exposure to all aspects of sell-side and buy-side transactions, and will interact with the deal team and managing partners of the firm.

Working at CAS gave me the opportunity work in a dynamic industry, with wide exposure to all of the different activities around bringing companies to market and helping work towards successful closing. Interning at CAS was a phenomenal experience. I interned in CAS’ Chevy Chase office and accepted an invitation to join the firm full time as an Analyst in March2020. I had the opportunity to work directly with Managing Partner Mark Russell, providing support on M&A, strategic consulting, valuation, compliance and regulatory business practices.
While attending Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, I interned in CAS’ Philadelphia office. I had the opportunity to work directly with Managing Partner Michael Lamm, providing transaction and administrative assistance at every phase of the M&A process. I accepted an offer to join CAS as a Junior Analyst in July 2017. Today I am an Associate.
While attending Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, I interned in CAS’ Philadelphia office. I had the opportunity to work directly with Managing Partner Michael Lamm, who challenged me to contribute to all aspects of CAS’ advisory business. This included equity valuation, due diligence, strategic advisory and compliance. I eventually joined CAS full time as a Junior Analyst in February 2016. Today I am a Senior Associate.
Interning at CAS was an incredible experience. As a career switcher in my first year pursuing my MBA at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, I didn’t have a strong business background. However, the team at CAS welcomed me wholeheartedly, invested considerable time and energy teaching me about M&A and the BPO industry, and allowed me to work on high-level, substantive projects under the supervision of firm leadership. The skills I developed at CAS will not only allow me to apply the new skills I developed in my MBA program, but will also serve me well in my professional development.
Getting to work under Mark and Michael this Summer at CAS was a fantastic experience that I’m very grateful to have had. At CAS you will be given real work and be made to feel like a true member of the team. You will learn valuable career skills, as well as meet some great hard-working people. My internship at CAS was both intellectually challenging and professionally rewarding. As an undergraduate student hungry to acquire investment banking experience, I was given the opportunity to work on a lean deal team and immediately gain end-to-end exposure to both sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions. Throughout my time with the firm, I enjoyed excellent mentorship from colleagues, while also receiving the bandwidth to create unique solutions to complex problems.
